Keloğlan Anadolu masalları arasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Yoksul annesi ile yaşayan, geçinmek için birçok işe girip çıkan, sakar ve saf, ancak hazırcevap, sorunlara pratik çözümler bulan, her masalın sonunda mutlaka muradına eren bir kahramandır Keloğlan. Kelime oyunları yaparak, bazen kurnazlığı bazen de saflığı sayesinde amacına ulaşır. Keloğlan bu nitelikleriyle Balkanlar, Azerbaycan ve Kerkük’ü de içeren bölgede sevilen bir masal kahramanıdır. TRT, bu bölgesel kahramanı dünyaya tanıtma yolunda önemli bir adım daha attı. Keloğlan’ın üç boyutlu bilgisayar animasyon filmleri hazırlandı.
